Ambit Legal Terms for Enrollment
Letter of Agency
I understand that I must be an applicant or the applicant's authorized agent to sign up for service. I certify that I am 18 years or older and legally authorized to select and switch retail electric suppliers for the service address entered in this Sign Up. I authorize Ambit Energy to become my retail electric supplier and to act as my agent to perform the tasks necessary to establish my electric service account and switch my service from a different retail electric supplier, if applicable. I understand that I have the right to rescind this Agreement without penalty within five business days.
I acknowlege the authority to execute this electronic LOA, and by accepting this LOA, you, our customer, agree to the following:
You authorize the change of your electric service provider to Ambit Energy. Term will be a 12 month term, not a contract, with no cancellation fees, should I decide to change providers.
Term rate will be 6.64 cents per kilowatt hour rate (Residential) and 5.90 cents per kilowatt hour rate (Small Commercial). Rates are renewable at each end of the 12 month term.
Future correspondence with you can be via email or U.S. Mail;
You are aware of your ability to cancel your enrollment within five (5) business days after the enrollment.
Along with other important documents, this LOA will be sent to you via U.S. Mail to the billing address you have provided.
You will receive, via the email provided, an acknowledgement of receipt of this LOA;
As the customer of record, acceptance of the enrollment process will serve as the signed acknowledgement of this LOA as of the date of the acceptance.
I understand and agree to this LOA.
